Services for Donus E. Denny, 80, Indianapolis a former Cloverdale businessman and postmaster who also had served a term as Putnam County prosecutor will be tomorrow at 1 p.m. in Flanner & Buchanan Broad-Ripple Mortuary. He died Thursday in Veteran Hospital.  A Cloverdale native, he was co-owner and then owner of Denny Store there 11 years and was a US Postmaster there 12 years.  Admitted to law practice in Putnam County in 1930, he served one term as Putnam County prosecutor beginning in 1944. Denny served as a Methodist minister in several Indiana towns. He also was active in Republican party politics. He earned a teacher’s certificate at Central Normal College, Danville. An Army veteran of WWI, he was a member and past post commander of the American Legion and member of VFW, son of the American Revolution and Cloverdale Masonic Lodge 132.
